Negative gearing's impact on Australia's housing market

AIBE work experience student Nicholas Singh aims to demonstrate that there is no substantial evidence to indicate that negative gearing is adversely affecting house prices, the supply of housing, cost of rent or supply of rent.  As a result, the paper reinforces the position for the continuation of negative gearing and highlights areas for policy to be improved.

Nicholas is participating in the BEL Faculty Student Employability Team's Student Work Experience Program (SWEP).
