/ Thriving regions

The Rural Economies Centre of Excellence (RECoE) is a multi-year partnership between the Queensland government and some of the state's leading universities that provides insights into pressing issues for rural and regional Queensland, including drought planning, supply chain modelling, rural labour markets and workforces, and local innovation. Through the RECoE, AIBE researchers have researched and published in areas such as regional supply chains, drought resilience, rural populations, workforce development, digital connectivity and rural energy transitions.
